Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee partners with hunger-relief distribution agencies across the eight-county region. The partners are soup kitchens, food pantries, after-school programs, shelters, and schools. Collectively, they serve approximately 29,000 men, women and children each month. Second Harvest Food Bank provided 6.5 million pounds of food and grocery products to them last year. Ending hunger is truly a community effort. Churches, non-profits, teachers, companies, foundations, individual donors and volunteers make sure that people in-need across Northeast Tennessee have the nutrition they need even if they cannot afford it.
