* 2,534 children have been identified by their teachers and counselors as not getting enough nutriitous food outside of school

You are needed to help these children grow, learn and thrive. The Food for Kids BackPack Program is a program of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee in partnership with schools. Participating children are referred by their teachers and counselors. Then, children in-need are given a pack of nutritious, child-friendly meal and snack items twice a month thorughout the school year. Please sponsor a child today.
